I have seen lots of weddings do that- so its not a bad idea.

The last wedding i went to had little truffles in minature baskets on the table. That was very pretty.

Otherwise I have seen almonds, chocolate roses, cakes in little boxes and bubbles.

For mine I am ordering these bags from http://www.uline.com/Browse_Listing_5507.asp?keywords=cookie and putting some cookies in each bag for the guests. I am going to glue the bags shut and glue a ribbon on the bag that is the same color as my wedding colors. They are going to look so great!

That is a good idea, you can also take two and put them together on teh flat sides, them get a green stick, stem thingy for floral arrangements and make them into a rose, I am sure someone at a craft store could demonstrate. You wrap the kisses in the tulle, they are very cute. You could put four or five of them in a vase on each table and tell people to take as a party favor. You could even some how print you names on nice green paper for the leaves. GO to a craft store, I sure the ladies there will have some great suggestions along those lines.

I think it's a good, but tired idea. If you're looking for something inexpensive like candy, just remember that not everyone may like it, and may have no interest in your wedding favors. What you can do is maybe instead of individually wrapping some candy with tulle, you can place it in small decorative platters around your tables. You can go onto the M&M website, and have them put your names, or initials, wedding date, etc., on them- and you can even pick your own M&M color.

Making candy at home is the cheapest way to go. Candy kisses, without a full "kisses" theme would seem out of place and cheap. A great chocolate favor can be made using plastic spoons and melted chocolate. Dip the clean spoons in the chocolate several times until a nice layer has built up on the spoon. Lay the spoon on waxed paper and allow it to dry. Then wrap the spoon in celophane and attach raffia or a bow. Write a cute saying on the spoon handle and voila, wedding favor.

I got married last March. We used hugs and kisses as part of the table decorations....lined them down the middle of the table. The wedding colors were red and silver so we just bought the left over Valentine's candy kisses. We also had little heart shaped bowls with red and white valentine's day M&Ms to break up the kisses.

I think that this is a cute idea and the whole premise of kiss goes along well with the wedding theme. I have been to a wedding and it was a nice idea. They have different kinds as well and colurs so perhaps you will be able to even match with your colour theme. They also have the hugs and kisses which would be soooooo appropriate. Congratulations and best of luck. A good idea for the centre pieces are the floating candles in coloured water with a few cut flower floating besides.

I think it sounds like a good idea. Have you seen the Hersheys bars that you can have different things printed on the wrappers? I think the website is www.wrappedhersheys.com.

When I got married, I bought bags of potpurri and some mesh fabric and ribbon, made little sachets and put them in a basket in the womens bathroom.

We used hershey kisses at my wedding for favors. My colors were blue, silver and white. So we used blue spoons and put two hershey kisses in the spoon, wrapped the white tulle around the spoon, and tied it with a silver ribbon around the handle. They looked quite cute.

I'm wrapping blue and white M&M's in tulle and then tying a ribbon with these cute little double heart pendents. I got the pendents at wal-mart for like 2.00 for 12. So you could do the same with the kisses and a pendent to go with your theme!
