you would have more opportunities to fly bigger air craft in the AF like C5s and C17s but if you what to be a fighter pilot then Navy, remember Top Gun.

I would have to agree with the last guy. Both have Fine Pilots. I would suggest the navy just because i love my job there and i really like the pilots that i work for a fly with. But the Final decision is going to be yours. make sure you do your homework and decide from there. And i will say you do have a hard choice. because both have a lot to offer.

The Navy may actually offer the best opportunity to fly fighter jets and other big transports but the Air Force has te best facilities, the best food you name it. In the navy you could end up on carrier duty which is not so bad really but in the air force you would almost always have more comfortable housing.
Decide if you want TOP GUN or the elite of service.

i spent 30 yrs. in the Navy and i can tell you without hesitation that anywhere we went in the world, if there was an Air Force base close we went there. they always had the best of everything. Navy, you deploy with a ship for periods of time. Air Force bases don't get underway! You may always wonder what it would have been like to land on a carrier.

The US Navy has a greater variety of aircraft and a larger fleet, and only a few land on carriers (E2, C2, and fighters). Depending on how well you do in basic flight training, you may have a choice in what you will fly. My son chose the Navy, as they guarantee a flight slot; the Air Force doesn't. He was able to choose the E2 C2 track.

i'm going to be prejudiced because of fact i grow to be a Marine yet what I even have examine and been informed army and Marine Corps pilots are the suited and the Marine pilots are greater useful than the army. i'm consisting of Marine pilots because of fact they bypass throughout the time of the comparable education. If there is one occasion to describe why Naval/Marine pilots are so solid is to think of roughly touchdown a jet at over one hundred mph on the flight deck of an plane service it extremely is rolling and shifting up and down and it extremely is at night. Marine pilots will do just about something with their plane to look out for his or her fellow Marines. i've got seen definitely action picture of Marine pilots flying so low to help the troops on the floor that they have got been decrease than tree point. So, i desire to propose being a Naval/Marine pilot. I even have no longer something against the Air tension because of fact their undertaking throughout attempt against is distinctive.

with the airforce you would have more oppertunities to become a pilot but if you want to be a fighter pilot then being a carrier pilot is as good as it gets.

If you think landing a jet on an aircraft carrier in the dead of night in rough seas would be a really cool, then I recommend the navy.
