Who says that God will always forgive you? There are places in the Bible that tell us that God will not forgive us. In one place it says that if we do not forgive others for their transgressions neither will our father in heaven forgive us for our transgressions. It is true that God forgives us no matter how bad we are or how much we sin but only if we come to him in faith in confessing Him as our Lord. So the answer is those who are not forgiven end up in hell.

You have to be sincere, not just ask for forgiveness yet keep on committing that sin. If we truly repent, He forgives us. Of course, some people can't be bothered asking for forgiveness, so I suppose that's the reason for hell.

God does not forgive all, but has atoned for all our sins.
Take a financial example for instance:
Let's say you are late on multiple payments, are horribly in debt, and have filed for bankruptcy. Your credit score is obviously down the tubes and life in general sucks.
Now let's say someone comes along and pays all your debt down to the penny.
That is what Christ has done, he has atoned for all our sins.
However, if you try to go out and get a loan you will still be screwed because your credit score is total crap. Your debt has not yet been forgiven completely it has just been atoned for. But you still have debt/sin on your record.
Now if one believes in Christ and is truly "in Christ" then not only is that debt/sin paid for, but it is wiped from the record. You are viewed with a perfect credit score/sinless life. God sees you through the perfect life of Christ.
Universal atonement, not universal justification, objective atonement, not objective justification.

No, He only forgives those who seek forgiveness. He will forgive all who honestly seek forgiveness. But what is there to forgive if the sinner does not believe they have sinned?

Righteousness Through Faith
22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. 27Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. 28For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. 29Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. 31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

Hell is the grave, and it is appointed for ALL of us once to die.
Is there any person who has never died and been put in the grave/hell? Including those who were cremated. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
God forgave David who did some big-time sinning, and the Bible says David is in his grave(hell) today.
Whether you don't or do sin, and who, past or present, hasn't sinned, you will still die and be put in the grave/hell.

People go to hell because they do not ask God to forgive them for their wrong in Jesus name before they die. Therefore you can't be forgiven if you do not ask for it in the name of the son.

It's a magical rule made up by christians (and not found anywhere in the bible): you have to utter the "magic words" in order to be forgiven ("I accept jesus as my personal savior"). If you say the magic words (supposedly with sincerity, but again that's just a modern appendage to the myth), you're forgiven. If you don't, you're not.

People go to hell because they don't want to believe in God or don't want a relationship with Jesus Christ or most importantly don't want to admit they are sinners. All they have to do is repent and accept Jesus in their heart. It's pretty simple.
