I was listening to this am gospel talk show one evening on my way to work. And the host accepts calls from listeners. One listener called in and asked if Juanita Bynum was a true profit. The host of the show stated that Juanita Bynum is a false profit and that what she is doing is outright blasphamy.
I watch Juanita Bynum every now and then and listen to her profetic speakings about how God has told her to tell people to give so much money to do whatever.
I personally have no idea if she is false or not but I don't feel that its my place to make that judgement. My pastor has warned our church against speaking negatively against a man or woman of God. He says that it is God's place only to judge someone whether they are right or wrong. If this host feels this way about her, why not just say I don't agree with her teachings. Isn't it wrong to speak negative against someone who may very well be receiving instructions from the Lord?

While it is true that Jesus warned us not to judge, less we in turn be judged, He also warned us in the same sermon to beware of false prophets (Matthew 7:15) and warned us that many false prophets were destined to appear in the years to come (Matthew 24:11). The early Church had all manner of problems with heretical teaching and Paul denounced the promoters of false doctrine in no uncertain manner. Just to take one example, 2 Corinthians 11 deals with those who preached Gnosticism.

I don't know anything about this particular lady, so cannot make any comment. However, when people prophesy you should pray that the Holy Spirit would grant you discernment so that you can know whether or not that prophet speaks in His Name.

Read the King James Bible. That's how you learn.

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:"Isaiah 34:16

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." II Timothy 2:15-16.

It's nice to see that you are trying to seek out the truth, but "everyone has an opinion". What good will that do you? If they can't show you from the Bible and the Bible alone, they are WASTING your time! But you must learn enough about the Bible so no one can take it out of context like so many religious leaders do. Benny Hinn is one of them.

As for Juanita Bynum, she is a fraud! Consider the Word of God itself:

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." II Peter 1:20-21.

If I had more time, I would show you from God's Word not to even listen to people like Juanita Bynum or Benny Hinn. I'm out of time.

Below I have listed two GREAT "CHRISTIAN" colleges. Go to either one of them to get information to help you to learn how to read the Bible so no one can pull the "wool over your eyes". E-mail either one of them with your questions. You will not regret it! I pray this helps you!

If they ask for money then they are not of God. The Bible teaches that if someone claim to be of God, then not only are we expected to but it is our duty to judge them. "Test the spirits to see if they are of God" Pastors like yours who convince people not to pass judgement only do so to brainwash their followers into this thinking. They don't want their members looking close at their lives for they know that they themselves are not of God. Jesus and the apostles taught passing judgement and you should look for a new church. Better yet, give up on churches and seek out God on your own. Man started churches, Christ condemned those that went to church. See below website for a rude awkening.

ps: Juanita Bynum is a fake and fraud like all of her buddies at TBN. "You cannot serve God and money"

The answer is simple: All people who claim to speak either to or for god are liars. To think negatively of these people isn't wrong -- in fact, it's the common-sense thing to do. Why should you feel obligated to think respectfully of people who are lying to you? I mean, they're lying to you, and trying to take your money!

If you need proof that they're lying when they claim they speak to god, just honestly ask yourself the following question: "Have I ever spoken to god?" Now ask yourself if it's reasonable to just assume that other people have spoken to god. Trust me -- these people who claim to speak to god are no more special than you. If YOU can't speak to god, neither can THEY.

Now, I'm sure you've been raised by your parents or other influential adults (like your pastor) to never question your religion, nor to ever question other people who share your religious beliefs. But let's face it: There are a lot of people in the world who seem very nice, but who are intentionally using religion as a way of ripping people off. The list of famous televangelists who have engaged in immoral behavior and swindled money from people is already quite lengthy (e.g., Jimmy Baker, Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Haggard, etc.), not to mention the number of Catholic priests who have sexually abused children. The point is this: Questioning religious people AND their views -- and YOUR views, for that matter -- is the healthy thing to do. You shouldn't feel bad about it.

Saved God loving people are given the gift of discernment... and can get a pretty good idea if someone is truly of God by their motives and actions. There are fake everythings out there... be it pastors or judges or presidents or priests or religions.... be careful who you lift up on pedestals

We are to use discernment with one's teaching with the Word of God, so that we don't follow someone who CLAIMS to be a man of God and is not. How else do you know who to get true spiriitual food from? If this preacher, teacher is preaching the TRUE WORD of God without twisting scripture, then we know we can listen to them with God's Blessings. If they are twisting scripture, then their instructions would NOT be from God and yes I can say he IS Wrong, not a man of God, and base this on God's Word.

The lord talks to us all. It's called your conscience, and some of us hear a "louder voice" than others. But we're all human and everybody is entitled to their opinion. I think people that consider themselves "Prophets" are nuts...I'm not judging, I'm giving my opinion.

If he believes she's a fraud, how can he in good conscience, just say "oh, well I don't like her teachings" like nothings wrong.

Personally, I've never heard of her.
