Are there any scientists here that believe in a divine being of any sort? Doesn't matter if you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc.
I'm looking for scientists in the mainstream sense. That includes the physical and life sciences. While I can't "limit" the respondents here, examples of who I'd like responses from are people (examples in the American educational system) who hold BSs, MSs, or PhDs in a traditionally scientific field of inquiry. MDs, I suppose, could also count although I'm unsure of the fundamental training (as opposed to practical application) MDs have in the basic sciences.

Oops. Forgot to say "and could you tell me why you believe in God?"
Some people think that God and science are exclusive of one another. I don't believe this, myself, but I'm curious about others.

Gaila, my purpose in defining "scientists" was not to limit anyone but rather to define what I mean to ask in the question.
I invite anyone with a solid grounding in the principles and methods of science as a whole, as well as an understanding of the current relevant state of their field to answer this question.
