You need a software to do that. Go to http://download.com and look for a program called CutePDF. Last time I looked it was still free.

Using it, you create your document in Word, when you are all done, you click "Print". You will have "PDF File" available in the printer window as one of your "printers". Select that as the printer, and it will save the word document as a PDF file (instead of actually printing it).

Install latest version of adobe acrobat reader professional(i have version 7).It has option which can convert any text,word,html,doc file to pdf file.So,don't worry.Just install it in your computer.

You would either have to get a program to do that, or you could use OpenOffice and export the file as a PDF from there.

I think that if you open it and hit save as then type like thename.pfd then save it should work.That is how i convert my other files.Hope it helps =)
