For their "final" judgement!

There will be a final resurrection.. right before the Great White Throne Judgment. Both the "righteous" of the Old Testament along with those that never heard of Christ ...will be resurrected up... at the same time those that are wicked throughout history will be resurrected. The righteous and unrighteous shall go before God... only difference... the righteous have been given a pardon...their Advocate is with them... the unrighteous doesn't have a lawyer in their behalf.

To give the wicked people a chance to repent. There are people (according to the bible) in Gehenna, which symbolizes eternal destruction NOT hell. So not all wicked people are going to be resurrected, I guess just the ones that thought they were doing good, and were misguilded.

Or for the final judgement, once again some people have already been judged. And are in Gehenna....That is if you believe in the stuff :)

The simple answer is that He promised He would....and it goes much deeper than that...believe me!! Now having said that, not everyone will receive the same rewards. That to can go way, way deeper than this simple but true answer.
