ABSOLUTELY...AHLE-BAIT IS THE HOUSE OF THE BOOK WHERE THE BOOK HAS BEEN REVEALED...GOD DIDNT COME TO EARTH AND MEET EACH AND EVERY HUMAN AND RELAY THE MESSAGE....OFCOURSE ALLAH IS THE SUPREME POWER AND MOHAMMAD (saw)IS HIS MESSENGER AND HIS HOLY AND VERY PIOS FAMILY ARE THE BEST OF ALLAH'S PEOPLE...THEY ARE THE HOLY BLOOD..THAT IS WHAT MOHAMMAD(SAW) HAS MENTIONED..AND U R VERY TRUE IN SAYING THAT AFTER ALLAH AND THE PROPHET WE HAVE HIS FAMILY TO LOOK UPTO WHO HAVE SET EXAMPLE BY THEIR OWN LIVES AND ACTIONS.. A RELIGION THAT IS SOO TRUE AND A PROPHET SOO HOLY CANNOT HAVE SUCCESSORS WHO ARE NOT ON PAR WITH HIS GRANDEUR...NO OTHER PEOPLE NO MATTER HOW GREAT THEY MUST BE IN THEIR OWN RIGHT CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE HOLY AHLE-BAIT...AJR-KUMAL-AL-ALLAH....JAZAK-ALLAH-KHAIR.

the only way 2 reach Allah n earn his mercy is thru muhammad(saw)'s sunnah n quran. The sunnah is a major part of our religion and without it we will surely go astray.
The Qur'an and Sunnah complement each other. Without the Sunnah our religion is not complete, likewise without the Qur'an our religion is not complete. Both of these things guide us to the right path. In order to be completely guided we must hold fast to both these sacred things.
Allah says "Whoever obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah." (4:80) Allah also says: "No, by your Lord, they do not believe until they submit to your adjudication in all disputes between them, then they do not find themselves oppressed with your decisions and they completely submit." (4:65) Again, Allah says: "When a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, it does not behold a believer, man or woman, to have choice in their matter. One who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path." (33:36) Furthermore, Allah says: "What the Messenger teaches you, take it; and what he forbids you, avoid doing it." (59:7)

Source of teachings of Islam is the words of Allah (Quran) and life/teachings of His last Prophet. Prophets' successors are not by blood but only Islamic scholars (by knowledge and pious life) who alone inherit and succeed. Prophet's housemates were also very highly pious and scholars, hence interit & succeed him together with all other Islamic Scholars practising Islam strictly and completely.
Non-believers of Islam attempted to create a group to admire & adore the descendents of the prohpet and to disrespect all other Islamic scholars; and splitted a small groups of misguided.

To a point brother, but the central importance in the Quran is remembering Allah, because true life---life with Allah in the next world---depends upon it. In the Quranic language, "to be forgotten by Allah" is to burn in the Fire, and to be remembered by Allah is to dwell in the Garden.

weel, in Islam the only way to have our requests is by asking Allah only cause he's only could give us our requests , Allah is the creator and the Prorhet Mohammmad & his family are like us just creatures of Allah they can't do anything but Allah could .
Allah chose the Prophet to call people to Islam & to ask only allah for there needs not from AHLEBAIT or other mens or creatures.
THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH AND MOHAMMMAD IS THE MESSANGER OF ALLAH

this is not correct, the only one that was inspired by God was prophet Muhammad the human slave of God, and the book sent to us was the Quran. those two things r ur guiding and surviving.
when prophet Muhammad told us about his households (his wives and family) because he knew he will come to die, so he was telling his followers to take care of his households. ahlAlbiet does not mean anyone related to prophet Muhammad should be a prophet from God.
