im talking about the ones you can buy at target, or walmart for like 5-10 bucks a pair

I think it is 1 because I bought some that was a 1.25. The lower the number the weaker the strength. Just test some out and see what suits your eyes because I know if I wear some that is really strong my sight becomes blurry.

The weakest that you can buy is 1.00. They are basically see through glass with no magnification. I wear 1.25 and they magnify a bit more. The higher the number, the greater degree of magnification. If you have to buy them, dollar stores are a great place to find them and you won't feel so bad if you lose or break them. Some are very fashionable, too.
