I don't like to answer retrospective questions. I can't go back and change once I'm dead. BUT, since there's really nothing to lose by having faith and believing in God, why not?

Many people find that faith improves their quality of life and happiness, whatever the outcome.

Having faith has never stopped me from doing anything I want to do in this life.

The only things it HAS stopped me from doing have been beneficial. I'm not a druggie, I didn't get AIDS from drunk unprotected sex, nor was I knocked up in high school.

Sure, I would still live life as a Christian/believer. What's wrong with respecting yourself and others? If we all did it, perhaps the world would be a nicer place.

Most definitely. If you put the afterlife aside, Christianity is a relationship with Jesus who makes many promises to His Children while on earth that the unbeliever cannot comprehend. Only thru Faith in The Lord did I understand and now have a life of Joy, regardless of circumstances. I have the Lord who is ALWAYS with me, who intervenes on my behalf to The Father in Heaven. I could go on and on. Thanks for asking. You could ask the question again.. If it turned out you were wrong about your unbelief in Christianity (Jesus)and you end up separated from the Lord in a Hell you did not believe in, would you still have chosen your life as an unbeliever??

Perhaps not if I knew it ahead of time.

But the fact is that I did choose it based on my faith. If it turns out to be not true, then I guess I'm just stuck with a life of love, joy, hope, healthy living habits, and a compassionate outlook for those less fortunate.

Don't cry for me!

I would because I have recieved many benefits because how I have lived my life. I have made many true friends, helped out those less fortunate and developed a sense of belonging and self-worth that I was missing when I lived my life differently.

It it turned out that Christianity was not true I would live my life by the following philosophy:

Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die.

I would do whatever I want, whenever I want, and would pay no mind to anyone else except my own selfish lusts and desires.

That is my honest answer.

I’ve made too many new friends and found too much rewarding work to leave. But I can’t imagine that happening. I am too certain of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

No soul alive is absolutely correct in their worship to God. This is why we constantly have to berate ourselves in doing his will and be willing to listen to counsel as to understand his wisdom better. Exactly the reason mankind is going to be given an allotment of time and fair circumstance, to grow to perfection under Jesus headship.

Yes. I wouldn't have lost anything. Those that don't believe of course, will have a bit of a problem when they find they're wrong though, they will lose quite a bit.
