Ive had my slow cooker about a month.
I do stews, chilli, bolognaise, sausage casserole, chicken in sauce, mince and onions, lamb shanks, beef brisket, all sorts.
You can do anything, just put the meat in and either stock or sauce and your off!
I love mine, wouldnt be without it now., I walk in from work at 4.30 to the smell of a lovely meal, and just dish it up!

I make pot roast and whole chicken all the time. I've also made wings, meatballs, beans.
You can make all types of chicken in there, chili, pork (for pulled pork), just read a recipe today for chicken from another person here on yahoo: I'm def. trying this recipe....
Creamy Chicken Soft Tacos

4 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 jar (16 oz.) salsa
1 cup sour cream
6-8 flour tortillas

Place chicken in greased slow cooker. Pour salsa on top. Cover and cook on high heat 6-8 hours or on low 10-12 hours. Shred chicken by pulling apart with 2 forks. During last hour of cooking stir in sour cream.

Put chicken in tortillas with your favorite taco/burrito toppings.

I love coming home to food thats already cooked all I have to do is serve myself...its the best.

Soups, chili, pot roasts, goulash etc. Look for recipes at recipesource.com or look in any modern cookbook. Since slow cookers cook at a lower temperature, you might want to avoid chicken as it might not get hot enough to cook thoroughly. By the very nature of the way they cook, most recipes will need a high proportion of liquid.

We use ours for roasts, inluding venison! 10 hours and they fall off the bone. Also, my wife buys these quick meal packages at the grocery store that have meat and veggies and sauce in them, you cook them for 6-8 hours and dinner is ready when you get home. Also, if you buy one, definitely buy the disposable slow cooker liners. You put your liner in the crock pot, put your meat or other food inside it, and when you're done, you just throw the liner away, no mess to clean up.

I make a ton of stuff in mine. Pot Roast, Short ribs, pork loin, bar-b-Que shredded beef, chicken, chili, stews, and soups, sauces. I also often use it for entertaining. (Great for large quantity of nacho cheese). I am a super busy working mother, and it is great to come home to a meal that is already to go. Try checking out recipes from yahoo food, or Kraft foods web sites. Have fun and Bon Appetite!

Sure! I have a favorite recipe called "Chicken Parisienne" that's whole, boneless skinless chicken breasts. There's a sauce that cooks with it, but it's just to garnish it and the rice that you make on the side. I also have a recipe for meat loaf, pork chops, spaghetti sauce, etc. You can also bake potatoes in them, or make mac and cheese.

Soups, chili, spaghetti sauce, Swedish meatballs, corned beef brisket, roasts, and chicken. In my slowcooker cookbooks there are even recipes for desserts. I haven't tried those yet, but we do use our crockpot at least once a week.

A stew, stewing beef or lamb, onion, leeks, carrots, parsnip, turnip, sweed, pearl barley, 2 oxo cubes and half pint of water.
Very nice for this weather, very hearty and so good for you.
