Crash dieting is a bad idea. You won't lose the weight any faster by starving yourself anyway. In fact, the opposite is often true.
When is your prom? Generally they are in April or May. In that case you wouldn't need to go on a "crash" diet anyway. Drink at least 48 ounces of water each day, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, dairy, whole grains and minimal sweets. Also, it'll help if you exercise moderately at least 3 times a week.

crash diets are not a good idea in general, however, if you REALLY want to loose this weight, it's not all going to come off by eating better. You have to do serious cardio workouts, and make sure to watch your carbs and fat intake. Protein-rich foods will make you more full for longer. make sure not to eat anything after 7pm at night, because those calories are not burned off as much because you go to sleep. make sure to eat a good breakfast, it jump-starts your metabolism. if you maintain a strict, but healthy, diet, your should be able to loose at least 10, if not more, lbs before your prom :)

salad or other veggies. the way i understand it the human stomach cant digest plant cell walls very well so most of plant products will make you feel full but not actually make you larger. but dont drench it in dressing or you defeat the purpose. also try going for a few runs, like one each day until prom or something. it doesnt have to be far or fast just get your legs movin once around your neighborhood or something.

dont go with baby food, this is the most fatening food in a grocery store. just look on the jar, they don't make low fat babyfood!
just quit soda,bread and pasta for a little while and take a supplement of multi vitamin with plenty of water and I guarantee you should shed pounds! It's also important to eat in small quantities and introduce healthy snacks to keep your metabolism going, to burn calories. If your going to drink alcohool, dont go for beer but instead go with a Rum and Diet coke/pepsi or even coconut rum if you like sweet drinks. Coke zero is even better or light colored sodas (diet Sprite)

Salad, low fat proteins, snack on baby carrots and drink water plus do some exercise. Good Luck and don't worry so much about that dress.

eat only fruits and veggies for two weeks, u'll lose 20 lbs. trust me my bro is a personal trainer, and that's what he says to do. he also says if u want to lose fast eat nothing but rice. it'll fill u up, but has absolutely no fat. or u could do a juice diet. u have to make yourself, ya know? but you also have to work out. get just 30 minutes a day of cardio or weight training.
