Great question with a simple answer, that is depending on how you define relationship.
In the broad sense we all have a relationship with Christ. He is the creator and sustainer of the universe. So by default he owns and cares for us. Therefore we have a relationship by default, however if you are talking in the more personal sense here is where things get tricky.
The Bible does not use the term relationship, however it uses terms such as, to know, believe, have faith, and describes a state of being "in Christ" if that is what you mean by relationship, then it is extremely important to have one.
The consequences of not having one will have you facing an eternity without the grace and love of God, but only the wrath and judgment of God. It is a very serious subject, which is why I'm glad you asked this important question.

Because he made us and when you die i know you will like to go to heaven and meet him one day with the rest of the Goding Angels i know i would that's why it is so important to have a relationship with Jesus at all times because when you get in trouble you can always count on him if you can not count on nobody else.

Oh I don't know...let me name a few. Well He is the literal Son of God born in the flesh. He is the Father of our salvation and through the Atonement He has made it possible for us to come back into the presence of our Father in heaven. So I think this person would be an excellent one to have a close relationship with.

because He is seeking to have a relationship with you... He is the only way to God, the Father... and being in 'right' relationship with Jesus, accepting His forgiveness for your sins is a good way to start. once you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, the Holy Spirit comes and annoints your life by being within you always... life is never the same after that....

DUDE im telling you...jesus is the only way to live. you may think being christian means buckling down and rules and what not but its SOOO Much more than anything like that. i used to be wild and my life was so empty, when i began to live for jesus and let him work in my life...THE MOST AMAZING things began to happen. i didnt like to get drunk and smmoke all the time, i just wanted to live for god and when i did that, things were literally placed before me. I met the most amazing boyfriend (amazing looking i might add) and you realize whats truly important in life, what you do for others and just sharin some love. But its important because its the ONLY way to live, any other way its like your not even living, or your dying just to live (temporary highs like drugs and such) when really we should live to die, because our life here is only a temporary dwelling and whats important is making it to what is available after life on earth...heaven!

a lot of ppl think it's naive to believe in jesus christ ... like it's some childish need to feel like there's something more. actually though, the history of the bible is quite fascinating. for the bible to have been written by so many people over so many thousands of years and still be so cohesive and historically accurate is amazing. there's no other book like it anywhere. i suggest you study the history of the bible.

Because without that relationship, eternal life in heaven is impossible to attain.
For example, we can all say that we know former President Bill Clinton.
But Hillary has a relationship with him.

because He loves us more than we could ever know and having a relationship with Him is amazing. You can experience so much joy and love from Him. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. We can't go to Heaven ourselves because we sin, we need someone to have mercy on us and forgive our sins- God.

because if you don`t when he comes back you will not go to heaven you stay hear on the earth for 7 years while the anti christ rules over all the earth

Jesus demonstrated the way back to God, total and unconditional Love for all God's creatures - even your enemies.
All that is important is that you live Jesus' example.
