Some people are very afraid of picking up germs and I don't know about a disease in particular if it's only public restrooms, but I can tell you that it is COMPLETELY justified. Public bathrooms are hotbeds for germs... you flush a toilet, there go the germs all over you and anything nearby...ick. That said generally you wont get sick and it can even build your immunity but I for one am with you.

A lot of people feel funny about using public restrooms--but at some point--you're going to have no choice.

Be sure that the toilet seat is not wet, flush the toilet before using, use the seat protectors, and flush after using. Wash your hands in hot soapy water very well--and dry them. Use a paper towel when opening the restroom door to exit, then discard it in a trash can.

This only means you never had to go too badly. Between going into your pants and going into the public bathroom - guess what choice is the right one..

not a disease.. but must be frustrating .. try running the water or flushing so you get it going.... you need to losen up a bit... are you ashamed for some reason or paranoid someone's looking? you shouldn't we all do it!!!

Yes, kind of. Look at it this way. Are you listening to other people? No? Then why do you think they are listening to you? Alternatively, you can flush while you go, so nobody can tell hear you are doing.

It is not a disease. It is a personal choice.
