Well we already know we wanna get marrie weve been together for 3 years, and ive been waiting for a ring,, he told me that with this income tax he was gonna buy a big screen tv and then NexT years income tax he'd start saving for me a ring,, so what do the guys have to say about this, or girls, i just think thats very mean, he says he will get me one one day, but hes putting a T.V. before me? tell me what u thnk?

All I gotta say is that he better be getting that ring and surprise you instead! After being together for 3yrs, it's time for the ring! There's no way I would put off a girl for that long and spend money on something that frivolous like a big sreen. I sure hope he is just leading you astray on this. As they say.....ya can't keep a good woman waiting for long before she's up and outta here.
I wish you luck that it's a ploy...

Sometimes boys are rude and selfish even though they love you. Explain to him in a way that doesn't put him down (um.. well, not too much!) that if he cares about you, it is a bit appalling to put a TV before your relationship. He might not realise how important a ring is to you. The calmer you are when you have this talk, the less defensive he will probably be.
If he cares about you, he'll probably be ashamed of himself. But if he's running away from committing, he'll come with all the excuses in the world or just get mad at you.
Maybe you should just show him what sinkablehail1978 said. TVs wait but women don't. If I were your guy, hearing that would really wake me up.

Yea he's putting the TV ahead of you. Its not like the TV will go out of style or there is a limited amount of TV's out there. Women however do not always wait around.

If he is serious about you, he should be putting you before anything and everything else. If he can't do that, consider the possibility that he is just using you. If he is...get away from him. There are too many nice guys out there who will appreciate you.

Its not putting TV before you ITS HIM NOT BEING READY thats his way of telling u and ur worried tv comes before u?hes not ready and hes letting u know this way

Whether you think it is mean or not doesn't matter, it's HIS tax return HIS money and HE has the right to choose what he will spend it on.
