I met this girl at a party this weekend and things went off pretty well. The ages for the people at the party were between 20-24. I started talking to this girl and we were dancing the night away. I got her phone number and we watched some movies together. We both really like each other but she told me she is 17 years old.(We in AZ) Im 22 and i know it feels kinda strange. But we really are into each other. She says that she doesn't mind my age and that I shouldn't cause she does have a tattoo(so i do think she is kidding around). Plus she says that her parents won't care so i may find that out tonight cause im taking her out for some coffee tonight.
So if she doesn't mind my age should i mind her age? The age of consent in AZ is 18, but we really are into each other. She is very mature and beautiful. I am not 100% positive that she is under 18 cause she has a tattoo on her lower back

well i got out of a relationship with this girl and she was 26 and i was 21. Things were ok but nothing exciting. Ive been with girls my age and thats not the problem. But i mean the only thing that is holding us back is the age. I mean its not that far apart since Ive dated woman 6 years and older than me. Plus girls my age are alot of drama. But it just sucks that the only thing holding back is the age. She doesn't care and she says her parents don't. But I feel like its not right, but yet i feel that it is ok. Im just stuck inbetween.

Not in AZ. I'm from MI and it's legal here but I've been having too much drama w. 21 yr olds. I can't even begin to talk to someone 22. And I could have. I'm taking it from the 17 perspective and there will always be that tension until she turns 18. More than likely she won't be ready to settle down when you will and if she does she may possibly be too inexperienced or using you

There are ways of getting a tatoo illegaly when you are under-aged. The tatoo doesn't mean anything. Anyways, why would she want you to think she is 17 if she is older??
I suggest not having sex with her until she turns 18- at least. Otherwise, I suggest meeting her parents and getting their consent.

For the sake of legal issues, don't have sex until she turns 18. Just in case the relationship goes bitter and she wants revenge. Rape will hold up in court because of her age alone. Other than that, I think it's okay. My husband is 19 years older than me.

How can you be totally into her and serious if you don't even know for sure what her age is?I know you have no control over who you fall for but jail bait is jail bait. Do you really want someone who isn't old enough to drink if you are. That will lead to all sorts of trouble for you. What happens when you want to go to the bars?

don't sleep with her unless you have proof she is 18 jail is a terrible place to go. robbing the craddle 17-22? stfu. it's not that big of a deal cause within 11 months she will be 18, man if the person above me thinks your robbing the craddle she should go to the south she would have a heart attack.
