Though Charles Darwin is the founder of evolutionary theory, he never sought to avidly undermine the case of creationists and intelligent design proponents primarily because those intellectually dishonest movements were in their infancy or nonexistent when he was around.
Richard Dawkins is the man that deserves the credit for proving that creationism and intelligent design are just poor attempts by religious people to couch their groundless beliefs about the physical universe in the language of science. Richard Dawkins, above all others, is the man who deserves our praises for decimating any pretense of credibility creationists and intelligent design theorist tend to arrogate to themselves.

And whay are we "blaming" either of them? We should be thanking the people that devote their lives to helping us understand the world in which we live.

Actually, common sense exposes Creationism as rubbish: neither Darwin nor Dawkins were necessary to expose a mythology for what it is...

They both came up with an alternative THEORY. They didn't expose anything.
BTW-it is Charles Darwin.
Science can NEVER prove either theory to be fact, for these two cannot go through the scientific process & are not testable.
