currently a 3rd year medical student in surgical rotations
Just wondering. Lots of my Asian friends (with similar stats above) have been complaining about the interracial dating imbalance when it comes to white men and Asian women versus white women and Asian men. I don't think that's necessarily true, instead I think it's just that most Asian men are less likely to ask white women out and tend to fixate more on Asian girls. What do you guys think?

5'9" to 5'10" is about average for Northern Chinese male youth (better modern diet). The Southern Chinese (Cantonese etc) are on average a couple inches shorter though.

You have an interesting theory, which I think I agree with. The stats you presented are more than acceptable for white women.
But I don't think women have a checklist that they work from when they're looking for a man either. My advice to you and your friends, is be bold, be friendly, and take a chance. Women are more receptive than you think.

My ex-boss is Chinese and his wife is white. I personally would not date anyone with those stats since I'm not attracted to a guy like that. You sound tall for an Asian . . .

If you are respectful and kind any woman would be pleased to date you- even if you weren't Ivy League material! Don't look for who would be willing to date you- look for a woman who will love you for who you are. In true love people don't see race, build, career path, ect...

the only reason why a white woman would turn an east asian down is if he is a jerk...the same goes with any other guy
