I got my lip pierced two months ago, everything seems to be going fine, no infection (for what I can tell) no pain, redness, etc. About two weeks ago just around my ring I discovered that is was all white and hard, almost looks calloused in a way. Again no pus or infection looking or anything coming out and its not the white stuff you get with piercings as I've had my tongue pierced and my nipple as well - its just white and hard and annoyings since its like a bump - any answers as to what is going on. My friend got her's done same time and it looks perfectly normal on the inside of her mouth.

P.S. I should have know that I would have been labeled - for my first person who answered I am NOT a teenager matter fact I am a granny w/two grandchildren and am 50 years old. And for the 2nd person who answered, am wondering why some would get scar tissue and others don't as I said my friends mouth is perfectly fine.

that sounds really weird. you should really just go back to the piercer to have it checked out so you really know whats going on with it.
