Yes youre allowed to.

Not a single argument against organ donation has found much ground in islam.

Since neither the Hadeeth or the Quran ever mention such an intricate detail, the solution is a mere decision thats done based on common sense.

I see no problem with organ donation. There is nothing morally, ethically and spiritually wrong with it. Instead, it is of great use to people and I would be proud to donate my organs.

The issue of organ transplant has been a matter of great debate and dispute among the great contemporary scholars from around the globe. It has been discussed in various fiqh seminars, and many short and detailed works have be compiled on the subject.

The majority of the Indo/Pak scholars are of the view that organ transplant is not permissible, while, the Arab scholars and some scholars of the Indian subcontinent give its permission under certain conditions,. No body has given a general unconditional permission for the transplantation of organs.

It is permissible for a living person to donate part of the body such as the kidneys to save the life of another, provided that the organ donated would not endanger the donor's life and that it might help the recipient.

Yes, I think they are. The body will be restored to a healthy condition when it is resurrected, so there is no harm to helping another person after death. Muslims are allowed to donate blood too.

But I'm not certain about the body part donation. Better to ask your favorite scholar of Islam.

Yes it is allowed !!!

as a matter of fact, as we are told saving one life mean saving the whole humanity and sometimes its deadly needed to donate an organ or blood for saving some one's life so its allowed..rather appreciated in muslim community.. for example donating Kidney for some renal failur patient ,or blood or eye etc !

Edit
I agree with habayeb that scholars have been debating for a long time on this issue in indo/pak and some do not agree with this .but still governament support it especialy for eye and kidneys.....because its worth blessing for some one's life like for a renal failure patient to get a kiidney transplant......because i have seen many such patients..thts why i m in the favour of this donation !! no matter what the shcolars say !!

Yes, and we are also allowed to donate blood. But we have to give it for free, we can not accept money for it.

I don't think its allowed, to my understanding.. i beleive that your body and soul are not yours, and its not you who decide what to do with them, your soul goes back to its creator, and the body goes back to earth, i mean you dont want your body to be handled in such way cutting you into pieces, even if your intentions are good, god will take care of those people, don't worry about it, stay on the saf side.. hope i helped =)
