Yes, but some people neglect their conscience. It has to be exercised to keep in shape, like anything else.

we are TAUGHT right from wrong.
Standards of Right and Wrong change from decade to decade, from culture to culture.
Learning Right/Wrong behavior is no different from learning any community based experience. It does not require a "conscience" to learn these behaviors anymore than it takes one to learn what the bus routes are.

Yes we were. One of the gifts that God gave us humans is free will, conscience, to know right from wrong.

Have you ever lived with a dog? They know instinctively who is a threat to their pack and who isn't. Most of them know not to hurt people who aren't a threat.
This distinction has been evolving for a very long time. It's just that humans have made up words and categories for what other animals just do naturally.
It's all about survival of the group.

Definitely, GOD wrote a law in our hearts.
Rom 2:11 for there is no respect of persons with God.
Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without the law: and as many as have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law;
Rom 2:13 for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified:
Rom 2:14 (for when Gentiles that have not the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are the law unto themselves;
Rom 2:15 in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing them);

You're not really looking for answers are you? Just planting questions so that you can state your point of view (or give the pts to a fellow JW for doing it for you).
I'm sure your intentions are good, but "tract-speak" is impersonal and un-genuine -- you'd have a lot more impact if you spoke from your own heart rather than cutting and pasting some prepared Watchtower schpiel.
I guess that's my biggest objection with the JW's I have had personal interaction with -- they act a bit like robots and just regurgitate someone else words instead of speaking from their hearts. At risk of being inflammatory, I'd even say you're a little brain-washed.
BTW, the automatic and immediate thumbs down any posts critical of JW activity on this board just supports my impression ya'll are conducting a semi-organized campaign on these boards lately.
