Most men on here ask questions about "what to do", as in for techniques and concrete answers, and most women here ask "what does it mean?" looking for read-between-the-line reasons.

Seems typical for our knowledge of how men and women think as either left-brained or right-brained creatures. Women analyze emotion, men take a direct path to problem-solving. It's a classic psychological view and probably somewhat evolutionary - in the old world sense, men had to go out and take action; hunting for food and getting things done - women had to deal with the emotional side; getting pregnant, dealing with hormonal surges throughout pregnancy, and nurturing children.

Women mature faster than men. But since we usually interact with people of our same age (like in school), when others start dating, we do it too.

So, while girls are more advanced and thinking already that there is something “hidden” there, guys are still trying to figure out how to say hi to a girl.

So you get here a lot of teens of about the same age (when they start to date) asking all this questions… that are all about the same anyways. And they correspond to unsecured boys and to mature girls.

It makes sense they would ask that kind of questions.

Now go to the “marriage & Divorce” section, and you’ll see the same pattern but in a more advanced stage of their life.

Funny how our bodies and mind work, isn’t it?

Men and women think differently (as if any of us didn't know that...lol!) so it makes sense that guys want to know how to fix it, and women want to know why it happened.

Guys are more logical thinkers and problem solvers/action takers...women are more emotional thinkers and want to understand the basis behind why things occur so they can get to the root of it.

This is a generalization, but it's the way the sexes were designed (by Nature).

That's because men know that women blame men and women know that men are the problem.
Men ask what to do because they assume they did something wrong.
Women ask what it meant implying that the man did something wrong.

wow... that's a no brainer. men always ask what to do because half the time they don't know what to do really. and then women need to know what something means because that's how women think. they have to know what it means before they use it or just to know. we're curious.... i guess.
