Depends. I know MINE is! But I can't imagine the religion that Do It Yourself Britney might come up with.

Perhaps. For day to day life at least. You can make you own "rules"!
But if you believe in life after death, then a DIY religion wouldn't accomplish much. Depends on what's important to you and what you want to get out of life. Enjoy now, or enjoy eternity.
If you don't believe in God, then what have you got to lose? But at the same time, if you are atheist, why have any kind of religious beliefs at all? I am not sure why the desire to believe in anything religious would occur in atheists (assuming you are one). Perhaps it's human nature. Or perhaps God has created us to have this desire?

Would DIY mathematics be better then organized math?
Can you imagine trying to figure out counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, ratios, algebra, calculus, trig, geometry, and statistics without anyone to teach you? It took hundreds of years and dozens of people to put all of those together.
As God is much more complex them mathematics, why would anyone think they could figure it out all on their own? Or want to try?
Even the Bible required over 40 authors, writing 66 books, over a period of 1500+ years to explain God.
I would go with organized Christian faith over some shoot in the dark DIY every time.

IF Jesus did in fact, rise from the dead than follow Him.
If not...DIY may be the way to go. Definately stay away from blindly following any religion.

Thinking for yourself, and doing what is right for you is much better than any organized religion.

no.
because you lie if you say you haven't inspired with anything from the other religions or other people who ever lived.
but I agree with primitive christianism and other religions to be devoted and follow them as they were at the time of their maker not as they became later. For instance at the time of Christ there was no church, no priest, only the followers and God.A simple and pure religion.

Yes and no. Yes it's okay to believe as you wish, to be certain of some things and unknowing or caring of others. No it's not okay because you need others in a community of similar faith around you. You need the support of others.

Yes. They get organized and emboldened. Then they start picketing funerals and thinking they are doing "god's work"
