One of my daughters, a very beautiful girl, often had excessive amounts of gas, which she released silently whenever she needed to. If she was standing near some stranger, like in an elevator or in the checkout line, then she would turn to the other person and give them a nasty look and say something like"well, reeallly!" and then act like she was trying to move away from them. It was so funny because she's so good at that act, but I really feel sorry for the people she did it to.

I love to rip one, when there is a crowd of people around, like at a formal dinner party, everyone is all dressed up nice, having a great time, and then I let an SBD (silent, but deadly) and love to look at the snobish women, and look at their faces when they smell a good ol' fart.

This does not happen in polite society.
One is assumed not to be in control of flatulence. Anyone saying or doing anything about it, including the "culprit," is extremely rude. Everyone is supposed to politely pretend that nothing happened.
This is different from a burp, which one is assumed to be in control of, and requires an "excuse me."
So, anyone "blaming" this activity on someone is the truly rude one. To be honest, once you pass the 5th grade, I have found that this rarely happens.
I don't make the etiquette rules, but I know about them!

I always wear a windbreaker in the elevator, just in case someone breaks wind.

It is funny,but I always try to get to the bathroom before I blow a butt blaster.Sometimes it doesnt work so I blame my kids. Isnt that awful?
