we have an interesting situation - 3 grandmas and 3 grandpas - my daughter's father and I divorced and re-married. So need a name for myself which is not Nanna, Grandma, or similar variations.

Me-maw. Posha (I believe this is German for grandmother). Mom Mom, GG, and one I don't particularly like but my brother's kids used it "Mrs.". That's what they call my sister-in-laws' mother. If one set of grandparents has a prominent nationality you could look up what grandmother/grandfather is in that culture and use that (like the Polish one). Good luck and God Bless.

my grankids call me mema i live in wyoming and people love it. my grandson called me that one day and it just stuck. come to find out it comes from texas. in the old days that is what grandkids called there grandma.And i so do love the diffrence of grandma to mema.

My niece calls my mom Omi (oh-me). It's German I believe. And I think it's cute.
