Kris Boyd has still got a lot to learn in the game, but through the careful guidance of W'S & A.McC he will more than likely become an ibrox legend. The future looks good with all the young scots in the side now ,i know i am watching with great interest for the outcome when it all starts to gel, players like Steven Smith, Chris Burke, Kevin Thompson,Alan Hutton, Alan Mcgregor Charlie Adam, and of course Barry Ferguson. been watching the progress of a couple of under nineteens, Dean Firman and John Fleck, son of robert [ dont know] murray park is about to start reaping what it has sown.

this is a difficult one because like you say his scoring record speaks for itself, and if rangers had to but someone with the ratio to goals you get from Boyd it will cost rangers millions, but the work rate that boyd has is lazy, he is a fustrating player to watch as he looks as he is not interested by not getting involved, or jumping high enough but he is only 22 and he must know if he doesnt improve on other aspects of his game he will be no more than a average player.

He scores against wee teams, and more often than not they are penalties. How many goals in his whole footballing career has he scored against Celtic?....... None!! How many goals has he scored in big European games?.... Not many! He is lazy, especially compared to Prso. If you think that Boyd is essential then your team are in a proper shitehole!!! Very, very average at very best!!!

Not really. And Alf, you poor deluded sweet little man, the real object of the game is to obtain more points than the opposition. The wee knob could score ten against Celtic and you would still get 3 points, thats all. And Celtic will still romp all the way home with the league. I'm afraid thats just the way it is.

The object of the game is to score more goals than the opposition and nobody in Scotland scores more goals than Kris Boyd. I think he can inprove certain aspects of his game such as holding the ball up and bringing others into play and maybe he will learn that in time. He is still only 23 and not yet the complete striker. As for the Dhims who have rubbished him, two things:
He has scored more goals in all competitions this season then Vinegar of Tiddlywink and Miller combined.
Wait until he bulges your net on 11 March.

Not sure. His scoring record is there for all to see, which is his main job as a striker, but i think he could improve his work rate, and he still has plenty of time to develop other aspects of his game.As a gers fan, happy with him,but room for improvement.
