How can I keep from getting broken out/rash on my chin from kissing my boyfriend who has a goatee? Suggestions....other than him shaving.

He would shave it if I asked him to, but I like the way he looks with it...so it stays.

BTW, he's in the USAF Reserves, so he has to completely shave once a month, which means there's no growing it out to make it softer either.

HAHA my gf yells at me all the time about the same thing. I don't think there is any cure unless you smear some olive oil on his goatee to reduce friction thus making it feel better for you LOL

use conditioner .. my gf has had a red big rash because of my beard.. i am using a conditioner now.. makes it softer

I have a beard and my wife never complains.
So, I can only conclude that he needs to trim it more around his lips.
If he's not using an electric trimmer at least 3 times a week, then you're out of luck. (Does he get food in his beard???)

Get rid of him? If he is not willing to shave, there is nothing else you can do, or just put up with the whisker burn.

There really aren't any other suggestions besides cutting his hair. You may need to consult a doctor on this one. Good Luck.
