It really shows how ignorant people can be. While I do understand some that were banned from elementary schools for foul language I just don't understand others--for example "The Color Purple." I think censorship is getting out of control in the US and I really wish people would realize if we equip our children with a good education they WILL know fact from fiction and history from present! Oh well I guess we never will! Thanks for the link--it was interesting!

There are books out there that are inappropriate for children, but I think that it should be left up to the parent to decide what there children should or shouldn't read.
