Cos phi=phase angle.
So, it will be cost effective.
Water is corrosive in nature . Over a period of time blade may get corroded and made the system unbalanced which is very unsafe.
Further more, plastic is comparatively cheaper than aluminium alloy.
Wooden lauvers are also getting damaged, plasic lauvers are more durables.So that also leads replacement.
spray nozzles,inside pvc fills(for increasing surface area) are also cheaper.
Handling also more easier.

Corrosion issues. Less of an issue with plastics than steel.
