O.K. My girlfriend finished with me on Sunday, things had been going downhill anyway, and the stress of it all had caused me to have an eating disorder which I told her about, & said i was seeing a doctor bout it,she felt 'we' couldnt continue. We had dated 4 a year. She said she didnt want me contacting her, & that she wanted 2 weeks. I spoke to her today, she said that for my sake, 2 weeks was best to get over her,& then we'd have to see what happened. I said, in 2 weeks, if I ask u out 4 a drink as friends, would u want2?She said that it'd depend on how 'I (Not her!)' felt, bcos it isn't always easy..... the thing is....i still like her,& i know if I cured my prob, she may hav me bak,but i doubt it. so questions...has anyone had a situation lyk ths?is it best to meet her aftr 2 weeks, wht shud i say?shud i just never speak 2her again? please let me know!

I don't like what you're doing here.

It is best to always keep the upper hand in the relationship. Right now you do not have the upper hand. If you sit back and do your own thing and she calls, then you again have the upper hand. This is worth waiting for. She dumped you, if you try to crawl back, you look and feel low. Let her realize her mistake and come back on your terms. If she doesn't come back, then hey, she wasn't the one for you anyway. Best to mentally move on right now, then sit for 2 weeks and cry like a *****. Trust me on this.

She said it depends on how YOU feel. She is hesitant to get back together because she doesn't understand how YOU feel. She apparently likes you and does want to see you again. Don't mention the eating disorder again and don't blame it on her. Just get help. You say things had been going downhill. Perhaps silly arguments? Be the best you can be when you're with her. Don't provoke arguments but if she asks a sensitive question, discuss it calmly without calling names, swearing, being rude or insulting.
Have fun together and everything will probably work out fine.
Try to remember the good things about each other that helped your relationship grow stronger in the first place. Good luck

You don't want to be with someone like that. If she wants to break up now, it's only a matter of time until she'll want to again if you get back together. Dude, just try to get over her. I know it's tough and you feel like she'll be the only thing on your mind for the rest of your life. But the day will come where you'll meet someone better than you could have ever imagined. I'm not suggesting you not try and have a healthy friendship with your recent ex, but meeting up eith her fora drink, coffee, or anything casual will only make it worse. Cut the head off, and the body will die. Good luck buddy.

First of all, let me say that if you have an eating disorder and you are seeing a doctor and its not helping much, you should seek a second opinion for help. Second, leave this girl alone for awhile. Take this time to try and get help for yourself. Maybe one day y'all will patch things up and maybe not. I wish you the best of luck.

Be a man, forget about her and move on. Your problem isn't her, it's that you either never learned how to be a man or forgot.
