it really depends on your gf and what she views as romantic. Is she shy or does she like attention should tell you whether she wants a public experience or a private one. What does she like most? How important is her family. Like maybe being old fashioned and asking her dad first. Plus, women are not as visual as men are, so I think the words would count the most. As opposed to just saying will you marry me, say something like "Until I met you, I didnt know my life was so incomplete, since you have been in my lifeI have found a joy I didnt know existed and I cant imagine not having you in my life, i want to spend an eternity with you by my side, the thought of not being with you makes my chest feel as if all the blood and air has drained from me. Will you make me the happiest man on earth and be my partner, best friend, and lover for eternity" I think it is what is said from the heart that matters most. If the woman truly loves you, you could propose anywhere and it is what she sees in your eyes and feels coming from your heart that will matter. But, if you really want something romantic, depending on your location, find a private secluded spot and set it up with a blanket, and some fruit, chocolate and champaign. Have a friend gaurd the spot (have them disappear at a certain time) and take her for a walk and then accidentally stumble on the area. When she sees it and looks confused, drop to a knee and let your love for her flow out of your mouth, and look her directly in the eyes. Like I said though, it depends on her personality, she may want you to shout your love for her from a roof top. Email me with her personality and the state your in and I could give you sooooo many ideas

Depends on your girl. What does she like? A few ideas I gave my friends for when my bf asks them how he should do it are...
a baseball game
a hockey game
at a concert by the band that sings our song
the century tree at Texas A&M (my personal fav! cause of our history there)
I like attention, so he's going to do it up big where all of our close friends and family will be there. I don't know exactly how he'll do it, but he said it will be big and it will be a complete surprise when it happens.

Just ask her what she has always wanted to do, or go but has never had the chance to do it or go there. When you find this out, try to make it happen and ask while your there or doing whatever...

Example:

If she has always wanted to see the sunset over the ocean, take her to the beach and while the sunsets ask her....

GOOD LUCK!

A sunset beach picnic with a blanket and wine or champagne to celebrate in a secluded area would be romantic....Or in the wine country have a little picnic there for a romantic spring atmosphere.......What would be romantic to her? What places and what atmosphere does she like to be in then be creative with it.......

Are you thinking really romantic or something that would just totally surprise her? My man planned a picnic and put the ring in my box of KFC.

Sunset is a good idea. Or you could do it where ever you had your first date? That's really sweet! Congrads and good luck!
