I would get her a little something, but don't spend over $10. Some brides get cranky if not everyone brings her a gift at the shower, and some find it hard to look at the shower as a gift.

The shower is the gift. If you still want to get the bride something, maybe you could take some pictures during the shower and put them in a nice photo album to give to her later on. It would be a nice way for her to remember her shower.

The shower is the gift. I would at least put a card on the gift table for her with a note inside explaining how much you loved preparing and planning her shower. Tell her how special she is to you, etc. That way, it is clear that your gift is the party.

You might also try incorporating something in the way of decorations or party props that would gift her in some way.

Yes the shower is the gift. You are not required to give anything, but make sure it is a quality shower. Also many times the group of bridesmaids will get together and give something.

I think that the gift is the shower. I don't think that you are expected to give an additional gift. If you wanted to give a small gift in addition to the shower, that would be OK too.

I just recently attended a bridal shower, in which the women throwing the shower simply presented the bride with a beautiful card expressing her sentiments and a gift card of a relatively small amount to her favorite store. Too all involved, this was more than enough.

The shower is a gift. You might think about taking some photos during the shower, put into a small photo holder and give that to her.

Buy a gift or at least take a few pictures of the shower and give that.

Yes you do but as a bridesmaid the rest of the bridesmaid and the maid of Honor help pay for the shower, you can all chip in on a gift also. I hope this site helps you as much as it has been helping me I am the maid of Honor!

I would say the Shower is the gift, but still get her something inexpensive. Maybe a gag gift, like some really tacky lingere or even something usefull... you can go to walmart and get an electric neck massager for like $12, she could probably use it, with an upcoming wedding she has to be stressing a little.
