I lost 80 pounds and have a lot of loose saggy skin around the stomach front and sides. I have been trying for a year to get rid of it. I am not ready and thinking of surgery. I want to know which type of surgery I would need. Lipo, tummy tuck, etc.?
I want the extra skin removed from the front, sides, and back of my stomach. Once I know which surgery I need where do I start? What is the cost of the type of surgery that I need? Ballpark figure

Please help I need direction.

Tummy tuck is an option people consider when their skin is really saggy. However, do note that since it's for purely cosmetic reasons, your insurance will not cover the costs.

An alternative available to you is to go overseas for your treatment. A lot of people choose to go abroad these days since it's much cheaper there for good quality breast lift and tummy tuck surgeries. Countries like India/Singapore/Thailand or even Mexico offer this treatment for about 80% less than the prevailing rates in the US. Some South American countries like Costa Rica, Brazil, Panama and Argentina are also excellent places to get cosmetic/plastic surgery for cheap. Even after you've paid for your travel and any other expenses you end up saving lots.

However, you need to be careful about the quality of hospitals there. You must make sure that they are JCI/JCAHO accredited. One such medical tourism facilitator that works only with quality hospitals abroad is Healthbase (http://www.healthbase.com). You can research about the various medical procedures - cosmetic as well as plastic, get a free quote, communicate with the surgeons overseas, plan and book your travel all at their website. You can even apply for a medical loan through their website.

It depends what type of skin you have. You must have quite stretchy skin so you cant get rid of sagging skin like Man boobs etc. Tummy tuck and lipo are possible options. Go to your doctor and find out.

well I can tell you those firming lotions only work a tiny bit..a tummy tuck is what you would need to remove the loose skin...they run between $2000.00-$5000.00...I would do as much research as you possibly can before jumping into anything.
