1 (17-ounce) package sugar cookie dough
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon almond, lemon or orange extract
3 cups fruit, fresh bananas, pineapple chunks, maraschino cherries, fresh oranges cut into rounds and peeled, blueberries, strawberries and peaches
1/2 cup orange marmalade

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll out cookie dough large enough to cover a round pizza pan. Bake 8 to 15 minutes or until firm. Cool completely. Mix together cream cheese and extract. Fruit pizza or as I like to call it, Fruitzza is usually made with either preserves of some sort or even a good pie filling. You can top it with streussel crumbs for texture. I once used strawberry cream cheese under fresh strawberries. Other things to try are topping with shaved coconut or mini marshmallows like 3 minutes before its done (when the crust is light brown) Good Luck!

You can make a great dessert pizza using marscapone cheese and cinnomon-sugar with whatever kinds of fruit you want, and just plain pizza dough pounded as thin as you like.

I had a fruit pizza that was awesome. It was called an apple pizza and it had apples and cheese on it. Kind of like apple pie with a slice of mozzarella cheese on it, it was very good.
