In Buddhism we do not try to convert anyone,if you are interested
in the truths we have to offer we would gladly assist you in any way we can to further your search. Always keep an open mind and seek truth even if it is not popular.

Converting is not a matter of being convinced my friend. Look inside, religious alliances are usually made very young due to family or the like. However, there is a pivitol point in one's life where they must choose. Do not let the world choose for you. However, if you look around and don't see any deities but think there is some higher power, try agnosticism. If you're thoroughly convinced there is no such thing as a deity, that they are all fairy tales told by old farts to establish a set system of morals and the such, dude ur an atheist.

I'll deny both the ability of anyone to convert you, and your own ability to convert yourself, to Christianity anyway. Christian93 is wrong, you don't have to be willing. Elijah Stroman is wrong, it's not even your decision. KatyK is close, it does come from within, but it's not your doing.

How about the Holy Spirit working within your heart? It's a doctrine called irresistible grace, the "I" in Calvin's TULIP, and I'll let you research that if you don't know what that stands for. God does not fail in His conversions. You simply expose Man's inability to look to God for salvation if you depend on others -- or yourself, for that matter -- to do the converting. And you are misguided if you are converted and credit the created rather than the Creator.

God adds to His church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:47. Simply put it is not my job and neither I nor the living God jump rope for you. Thanks for the two points.

In Christianity, to be converted is to be brought into God's presence spiritually and have fellowship restored with the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot be converted to my beliefs because you must believe for yourself. In all man made religion activity all you have to due is subscribe to belief sets, maybe take a study course and sign in.

What important things are you going to really be doing today? Most of us know you won't be sweating these answers. Still, with God, the day of salvation is always today and not tomorrow.

You can't be converted to Christianity. You can be converted to anything else, but you can not become a TRUE Christian by conversion. You must be convicted. You must understand that no matter how hard you try you will never be good all the time. You have to believe there is a God. You have to believe that you can't please him on your own. You have to believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Then you have to feel conviction (that's the Holy Spirit speaking to you) about your sin and the fact you will go to Hell if you don't do something about it.

If you don't believe God exists, that he had a plan for us, and then feel the conviction in your soul to do something about it by asking Christ to save your soul....then TRUE Christianity can't be yours.

Good luck!!!

Sorry, Tibetan Buddhism does not seek out to convert others to its way of life. That is the Middle Way which I follow.
Buddhism teaches to respect the free will of others, and converting others is not part of the Noble Eightfold Path. If someone asked a question on Altruism, on Love vs. Attachments, on Compassion, on the eightfold path, on Insight or Mindfulness meditations, etc. then we'd be happy to help answer your question.

No one here can Convert you, only God can change you.

We are all born into sin and since sin cant be in Heaven, none of us were going to make it.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

God knew this, and loved us so much that he sent this son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world he gave his only son, that whoever believe in him, shall not perish but have ever lasting life.

People will try and get to Heaven on their own by being a good person, but we all fall short. The only way to get to Heaven is to accept the free gift that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

The only thing you can do is accept that, or reject it.

Seek G-d on your own it is your choice no matter what!

if you choose wrong you will not be justified ignorance is no excuse with an able mind!

In these days knowledge has increased!! With the internet and books and history! Do you really want to know G-d seek within!

pray and ask G-d to reveal himself to you! Really the bottom line we can not say well this person or church told me this the bottom line is do your own research. i will not convert you if belong to G-d and search for him with all of your heart with all of your mind you will find the truth!

Note: Conversion can happen if you are truly looking to resolve a conflict within yourself. It cannot happen if people are trying to discredit or change others, but not willing to change themselves. This usually results in a deadlock, where both sides are equally stuck.

If people already have it set in their minds to discredit whatever proof is presented, they will choose to interpret it in a false way to justify their position instead of changing. Only if they are truly open to answers can they receive the understanding offered.

See example of where I got stuck, with a pastor who already had his mind made up that Buddhism was against Christianity. I tried to explain that he was misinterpreting the concepts in Buddhism, but he insisted on keeping those just so he could make Buddhists wrong. What he failed to understand, is the more he does this, there are Buddhists (like my mother) who hold to certain misperceptions of Christianity to make it wrong so they can justify not changing either! Is this what you want, a mutual deadlock? But that is why there is rejection of Jesus, as long as Christians reject other religious tribes, you reap what you sow!
