Some believe that Satan was "assigned" by God to do the deeds he has done. I think that because God is an all good entity, it's plausible that this is true. What do you think?

I don't think he'd want to be let back in - be a bit namby-pamby after all that fire & brimstone...

No. Think of it this way......If Satan were to be let back into Heaven, what would've been the purpose of Hell being created in the first place? Sin would've been "admissable" all the while, making Christ's death a waste! Satan blasphemed by attempting to overthrow God. That is an unpardonable sin! Therefore, Hell had to be created for Satan and those of us who refuse the choices pertaining to salvation.

According to the Scriptures, Satan will live in Hell "day and night forever." Yes, God is good, but He is also righteous and just, and evil can't live with Holiness.

Liberal theologian Barclay believes in this crap. He thinks Hitler gets into heaven, also.

But it does seem that 'evil' is God's justice on mankind, rather than his mercy and satan is the "Prosecutor", allowed to carry out the sentence.

The case of those who disbelieve in their Lord is that their works are like ashes, on which wind blows violently on a stormy day. They shall have no power over what they earn. That, indeed, is utter ruin.

Dost thou not see that Allah created the heaven and the earth in accordance with the requirements of wisdom? If He please, He can do away with you, and bring a new creation.

And that is not at all difficult for Allah.

They shall all appear before Allah; then shall those who were considered weak say to those who were arrogant, 'Surely, we were your followers can you not them avail us aught against Allah's punishment?' They will say, 'If Allah had guided us, we should have, surely, guided you. It is the same for us whether we show impatience or are patient, there is no way of escape for us.'

And when the matter is decided, Satan will say, 'Allah promised you a promise of truth, But I promised you and failed you. I had no power over you, except that I called you and you obeyed me. So blame me not, but blame your ownselves. I cannot succour you nor can you succour me. I have already disclaimed your associating me with Allah. For the wrongdoers there shall, surely, be a grievous punishment.'

And those who believe and act righteously, will be admitted into Gardens through which streams flow, wherein they will abide by the command of their Lord. Their greeting therein for each other will be, 'Peace be on you.'

Dost thou not see how Allah sets forth a parable of a good word? It is like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose branches reach into heaven?

It brings forth its fruit at all times by the command of its Lord. And Allah sets forth parables for men that they may be reminded.

No: Satan chose to sin against God all by himself.

Well God would need a nemesis. Without bitter, you would never know sweet. If a God existed, he would surely create an evil counterpart.

Had you read your bible, you would know that Satan's fate is that of destruction. Yes, like us, he too can die, but for him it is serious as a spirit dieing is forever.
