I have always had very skinny weak legs. Recently I have been squatting a lot and my legs are gaining strength. I feel more confident, in control and powerful. That made me think about how our muscles relate to our feelings and our mental states. Any validity to my theory?

ok so this answer is not scientific but metaphysical. If you are familiar at all with the chakras then this does help explain this theory. Your legs are part of your first chakra which is symbolic for your groundedness and your connection to the earth. (Think of tree roots). Without a solid first chakra you are likely to have problems bringing the concepts of the 2nd(power and control) and 3rd (confidence) chakras into the "real world" because you were missing your roots.
