Her friends were there and i guess they told her that i took a girl, and she called my guy friend started askign if it was true. why would she do that is she told me to move on and she moved on, does she still feels something? or she is just happy to know that i am moving on liek she told my friend. Like i said we were together 7 years and a few months and we broke up about 3 weeks ago. Women can you give you opinions on this please! Thank you

I'm no girl but she really wanted to quit but hasn't gotten over you yet. Still best unless she comes crawling to keep dating others.

If you want her back, ironically, this is also a great move. Her feelings watching you have a decent time with another should show her true feelings for you.

Different people move on and get over break-ups in different ways. She has chosen to move on by seeing other people and even though she encouraged you to do the same, the reality of hearing about you with another girl might be a little harsh for her.

Speaking from experience, the best thing for you two right now is time and space. The only way you two will remain friends (if that is indeed what you'd like to do) is if you give each other the distance to deal with your break-up on your own. There shouldn't be any phone calls to your friends or gossip among her friends. Things will just get catty and hurtful.

I know it's hard, 7 yrs is a really long time, but look at the bright side of things and try to enjoy YOUR life on your own. Keep yourself busy and if you feel like dating other girls, then do it. Just don't go to you and your ex's old stomping grounds. :)

Good luck to you! Hang in there. It'll get better soon.

Well, if a woman really tells you she's over you, she is. She's calling your guy friend to confirm. Eventhough you guys have broken up, she's still has "after relationship" feelings. Because she's so used to having you to herself, she felt kinda jelous of seeign you moving on! There's a saying "You don't really know what you've had until you lose it." and apperently she's going through that phase. I bet you're super sweet, you'll find someone better. Good Luck
