I'm not able to verbalize my story to the person on the phone or the person sitting behind the desk in the few seconds allotted to me to explain why I need to speak with an officer.
I would really like to know if there is a way to make an appointment?

What... you mean it doesn't work like on NYPD blue when you can walk right in the door and just sit down with the cop drinking coffee at the desk?

Call your local precinct and ask then if you can make an appointment for a 1 on 1 meeting with an officer. You didn't state what your problem is but it may be helpful when asking that you ask for an officer that is in that particular division. I did this before and they were very willing to talk to me. It won't be an hour long meeting but they will probably give you a half hour of their time.

Call the local police station and request it. They will set you up with a time and officer to speak to or they will send one out to you if you have a report to file

I really have no idea, but maybe you can ask them to come out to the house. Personally, this sounds like a situation that I'd just let go. If you are in fear, call 911 and tell them to come out because someone is trying to break into your home or threatening you or whatever. God bless.

Yes you can.... You just contact the PD or County and speak to the communications officer. Ask to speak with the officer if he or she isn't there then ask to leave a message. It is their duty to SERVE AND PROTECT.... THIS is the SERVE part of the duty... At my Office we have to answer all messages with in a 72 hr time.

Call the precinct, and they'll be able to tell you or arrange the meeting. I'm not sure but why not? I don't see whey an officer wouldn't be able to meet with you.

Go to the Precinct, tell the Desk Sergeant you need to talk to a Cop and follow the instructions given....

....oh and don't smoke dope first, or bring a gun with you, or anything else really stupid !

call the PD and tell them you need to file a police report, and ask them to send an officer out to your house.

I would go there in person and ask for an appt. Most PO's are out on the road so it's best if you make an appt.
