Why is El part of a pantheon of gods?

Modern usage of El is (poorly) translated as God. El in Hebrew generally means "Mighty One"... Elohim is the plural of that. In the Old Test, God is called "El" many times. But, El was also the High God of Babylon (which, according to history, looks more like the Jews took that as the name of their own God and applied Babylon's ancient stories as their own).

Each name in the Bible has a certain meaning. For the angels, they all are connected with God, with Michael's name being the only one that is a question in meaning.... "Who is like God?"

These lists don't all end in El

I'm curious as to where you found these names. JorEl and KalEl are Superman related names. I find that funny.

El means "The" in spanish (possibly Latin?), God called Himself "I AM", I find those two concepts to be related. He has multiple names that start with El. El Shaddai for one. I have seen His name translated as "The ______" for whichever name it is.

God is the only God. If humans have Him listed in a pantheon, that is a human error. He is the only one, according to scripture. Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal once to see whose God was real and Elijah's God was the only one that showed up.

El is only a part of the pantheon because of the Hebrews and Israelites that mixed with the the other g-ds of the nations around them.

you must remember that G-d punished Israel for mixing with the pagans Israel made his name and person come to not !

Many of the names of the prophet in the Bible also end with EL
because the prophets were G-d El's messengers to Israel.

And he warned them and warned them not to mix and go after the other g-ds of other nations. Many of the nations liked mixing the g-ds of other nations into their history show they often conquered a nation and adopt that nations belief in with there own.

There is no wonder you will find the G-d ( EL) of Israel mixed in with others because Israel did it and G-d kicked them out of his promise land like he promised through his messengers the prophets.

Bc, Michael ended in el, and Michael is the perfect name, therefor all the angels took after Michael and were named in his likeness.

First of all Jorel and Kalel are NOT in the bible, that's Superman. Second, it's probably just a coincidence because the most beautiful, most favored angel in the bible was Lucifur. Now he is more commonly known as Satan or the Devil.

Notice that Lucifer, once an archangel before his downfall, does not end in el. El simply means "of God, or like God". Eg; Michael= "He who is like God".
P.S. Jor-el & kal-el are not archangels.

El is an Old Testament name for God. Jorel and Kalel are comic book characters. There is only one God.
