I changed my battery on my armitron watch and the display is still blank, why is this?

Some watches require a connection to a reset terminal when the battery is replaced or they won't work right. Also, are you sure you got the battery in correctly? Sometimes it can be confusing as to which is + and which is -

Mabe you forgot to remove the safety filter of the battery.

Its possible.
