Parrents tell their children various things for various reasons. They want to protect you and what they say may not reflect their true feelings. Parents are often verry forgiving. They were your age once and probably also had strict parents, so they probably know what it is like, well sort of. What they really are saying is that they know of someone or people who end up having a baby in highschool or have sex before they are ready and end up scarred for life. This is totally a sex rule, and you should wait until you know that in the future you will not regret it (like would my future husband approve?). Your parents kissed before they were 21 and they don't really expect you to wait that long.

I got my first kiss behind the church next to my house. I was 17 and the girl was 14. It was the best kiss I ever got. My head started spinning, my knees felt weak, there were butterflies in my stomach and goosebumps on my neck. I hold a special place in my heart for that girl even though we have long parted. Make sure your first kiss is "right" because you will always remember it.

Darling, your parents just want to protect you from getting hurt or doing something you might regret later. Don't worry, they started kissing well before that age, they just don't want to tell you.
Either way, unlike what your parents told you, there is no age limit or "the right age" to start kissing boys. It happens when you are ready amd you meet someone who is worth it (cos believe me, you will remember the boy with whom you share your first kiss for the rest of your life-so you might as well pick someone you'd want to remember). For me personally, I first kissed a boy when I was 14, but it can happen sooner than that or later. The most important thing is (remember this) when YOU are READY! Good luck...

My first kiss was at 15. 21 seems a bit excessive, but don't start getting crazy at 12 either!!! It really does lead to other things, as much as we all want to say it doesn't. A little bit is never enough, so you find yourself going farther every time. Take things slow and you'll have no regrets!!

as far as kissing goes i was like about 12 the first time I really kissed a girl. that is pretty much normal for things like kissing. now anything further should wait until you are older and ready for them to happen, but there is no certain age to wait for, just do what you feel is right. Good luck to you.

21.. yo buy then you should be mature enough to handle ALL the effects and emotions that come behind and with a kiss... but honestly... there is no age.. and if you have to ask what the age is.. then you may not be ready to handle all of the infatuation and obsession that comes along with kissing and things in nature alike.. so... just be yourself. and don't worry about trival small things that the "normal minded" folk stress and obsess up over.. it's all hype.. DON"T FALL INTO THE HYPE.. unless your ready of course.. ask yourself that.. are you ready.. or do you just think you are??? hmmm... good luck on your choice!!! and don't do something you'll regret

My first innocent kiss was when I was 6, but my first good kiss was when I was 12.
Your parents are trying to keep you from getting pregnant. Because in a parents mind, kissing will always lead to unprotected sex. No matter what age.

I was fourteen the first time I kissed a guy. I think it's funny how your parents make it seem like kissing is sex when it's not. It's normal to experiment in kissing in your teens. Your parents are just scared that you may be growing too fast! Don't worry, kissing is normal for teens. Good Luck!
