there pit bulls

No idea.

Many people try to sell Pits online because they are just backwards backyard breeders who are trying to get rich off of some puppies. There are legit breeders out there... and maybe these people are. Who knows. Many legit breeders will ask for a high price especially for dogs such as these, this helps weed out the bad and irresponsible owners.

I went to that web site... and I don't know how legit they are. There dogs are kind of disgusting looking. I love pit bulls but they are totally distorting what a pit bull is supposed to look like. These dogs are being bred for appearances... they want the dogs to be short, stocky, broad etc. They didn't mention anything about breeding according to personality.
I would be VERY weary of this site and breeders like this.

Why breed any dog... but Pit Bulls especially? Pit Bulls are the number one abused dog in America. Only 1 out of 9 Pits live out there natural life. Only ONE! Out of the average 4-7 million animals that die in shelters every day 1 million of those on average are Pit Bulls.

OH P.S.
If you are looking for a Pit Bull to bring into your home. Look on Petfinder.com This site will help you find the dog for you. Plus you would be saving a life by adopting someone in need.

Never heard of them. I looked at their site.

Happily, I didn't see any real fighting dogs in a three generation pedigree for Tiger Lily. Also, the squat heavy-headed conformation of the dogs they are displaying is not fighting stock and blue coloration is not in the fighting bloodlines.

Looks like a better-than-average puppy mill. The $15,000 dog is brood stock that could put the buyer in competition with the seller. The puppy prices are because their "look" is in fashion; at that price there should be legitimate "papers" with the AKC or UKC.

Some of the other registries, ADBA, AADR, and Continental Kennel Club seem to cater to dog fighters, so I was uncomfortable seeing that they dual register with the ADBA... probably to keep a marketing foot in both camps.

Yes the do sell there dogs for a very high price but..again it depends on the breeding. they do gaurentee there pups/dogs do all the health/genetic testing, they show there dogs ,all there breeding dogs are titled and have been shown ,they have all the history/family tree on there bloodlines. usually a price set so high is too keep certain people from buying there dogs eg. for pit fighting ,abusive homes, ending up in s shelter) people who send big money on there dogs usually tend to be more careful with what happens to them.. and of course im not saying people who get free or cheapier dogs treat them poorly. cause that is un-true.. but again some people treat there dogs as disposable etc.

Mugleston's is a very known breeder and has put lots of money into those dogs. The dogs all have great bloodlines also and aren't used or bred for fighting either. They are a good place to go for a APBT. If I had the cash I'd get one from them...my fave dog is LOBO. The vitamins alone cost like 50-75 dollars each dog a month so that adds up quickly. APBTs aren't cheap dogs to own either if you keep yours like you should at least. I do recommend Muglestons though as one of the best breeders. Plus the dog you're probably talking about is Tiger Lilly...she's produced so amazing dogs including Lobo. She's also dual registered with UKC & ADBA, that dog alone is worth alot of money. Besides vetting isn't cheap either, especially with getting cropping done and all. The dogs/pups they sell have guarantees on them and are like the best of the best APBTs out there.

I don't know because it sounds like a ripoff. I don't know if they are "real" breeders or just backyard breeder because I looked at their dogs and they are all 80-105 lb. dogs, which is huge for an APBT, so these dogs sound more like "bullies" than "pit bulls". It seems like these people breed for just size, which is not a good reason to breed.

I checked out the site, and although they seem legit, I'm not real keen on how they keep some of the dogs chained up with logging chains.

They do have nice pedigrees, and I agree with the person who said that it was to keep the bad folks from buying. Also, their pups that are $15,000 are reserved for themselves...as in, not able to purchase. The others are still steep, but I can see why they would charge so much.

because they probably have taken great care to breed dogs without genetic problems and breed out aggression. also, early vet check ups and prevention.

still 15000 is a little steep.

$15000 is pretty high. Are you sure it's not $1500?
Is this breeder a show breeder or dog fighting stock breeder?
