You need to talk to him.
Sit him down and ask him why he won't leave her. Tell him you're worried about him and you only want what's best for him. Listen to the situation and make sure you know what's going on.
She may not even be blackmailing him. He might just love her so much that he can't bear the thought of leaving her.
Make sure he knows you only want what's best for him, and if he's uncomfortable telling you, don't push him.
Best of luck to you!

well i have family going threw the same thing and im here to tell you not to push the part of leaveing her because if you do he will draw away from your friendship , all you can do is kinda read between the lines and see what you think it could be maybe she has thretened him saying she will call the law for abuse or something you never know just try to get him out away from her as much as possible with other couples and let him see they dont act like she dose. and let him realize it on his own but be there for him when he is ready to talk . notice how she states things around him like dose she say you are so mean to me or your so abusive or you know what you did things like that and you will soon get the picture of what her hold is on him

Tell him that what ever she has against him is useless if he confesses. If he did something illegal and she is using it against him then you should try to get him to confess to the police. If he confesses there may not even be a charge and if there id=s it will be leniant as it was confessed then he'll be free

Nothing you can do until he makes up his mind to leave her. He cannot be suffering that much or he would leave.

i wish i knew the hold some women have over men, i have seen these kind of situations before and it seems like there is nothing you can do and no rhyme or reason why they stay.

She probably knows he enjoys anal sex.
That one always makes a guy, that says he's straight, fear a woman.
