Really complex Riddle! or is it?

You die.

Your walking through the after life and come to a forked road
at the the fork are two identical gates

at each gate is a Guard identical to the other in every way

the Guards tell you that one gate lead to eternal torture and fire and the other leads to a place of beauty and happiness

you must choose a gate and there is no way to tell which leads where?

You may ask one Guard one question before deciding, but
they only hint they give you is that one Guard all ways lies and the other always tells the truth

you don't know which one guards which gate
and you cannot ask a two part question

However i forgot to mention it was supposed to be a yes or no question! this makes it harder

the question should be :
If I ask the other guard if this gate leads to happiness what would he say?

If they say No choose that gate

if they say Yes choose the other gate

you see if either is in front of the bad gate the answer is Yes
if either is in front of the good gate the answer is No

i will ask a guard, "what will the other guard say about this door?"
if the answer is torture then i'll choose that 1, else the other 1.

You ask one of the guards "If I asked the other guard which gate leads to beauty and happiness, which one would he say?" Then go the other way

~if you ask the liar he knows the other guy would tell u to choose gate B but because he lies he will say the other guy(the honest one) would pick gate A.

~If you ask the honest one, he knows the liar would tell you to choose gate A cuz, well, he lies....

So either way you ask that ? then go the other way!

Ask one Guard a question you know the answer to, ask "What is one plus one?"
If you asked the liar he would not respond with '2'.
So go the other gate.

Note: MR. X arrogance and ignorance does not mix well, if you read the question all the way through, you'd see that "you don't know which one guards which gate." Which totally shreds your hypothesis.

If he says no then he is lying,and if he says yes he's tellin the truth.
Then we know which gate leads where.

every1 will say the comparable answer... that's "if i ask the different guy which door will he tell me ends up in the place im going" yet there is not any area of the question that proves or perhaps means that the human beings or doorways be responsive to what the different will say..... so the sole real thank you to try this.... is to invite one to open..... its nonetheless a question..... sooo while the door opens u can see the place it leads... and take the only u choose.... altho... my technique isn't fail info the two... because of the fact u could desire to ask the lieing door... he says ok... doesnt open the door... and then ur screwed.... sooo there is not any technichal answer to this question.... except this is better upon to assert that the doorways or human beings be responsive to what the different will say
