If i do 60 press-ups, 60 sit-ups and 30 minutes worth of jogging, all that every day, would you expect to see a change in body shape in a month?

Yes, of course! Even in two weeks

TAKE SOME DAYS OFF. Your jogging is fine. You could do that everyday. But if you want to build some muscle, or at least define it a bit, let your muscles rest. You can do 60 press ups and 60 sit ups (I would encourage crunches though) in a day, but take 24 hours off.

Bottom line, muscle grows in the resting period NOT when you're working them out. If you never take rest periods, they'll never grow that strong or big

Your resistance workouts should be done every other day. Your cardio should be fine.

However, I would recommend following a sensible eating plan along with this workout that you are going to do. This way you can maximize the results. Since you will be doing press ups and sit ups... I would encourage you to increase your protein intake and if you want to lose weight to decrease carbs and overal fat.

Make sure you DO NOT eliminate any food groups though. This would just drive your body into starvation mode and you would not want that.

There are four basic things that young male athletes tend to miss when shaping up: 1- releasing tight muscles before & after exercise, 2- proper warm up, 3- proper breathing so that u burn oxygen n organize ur heart beat without putting ur muscles into a shock out of intense energy consumption, & 4- moistening d muscles u wanna tone with cream by rubbing them clockwise n counter clockwise to help layer ur muscles n shape them up in place. If u combine these elements with ur exercise u'll shape up faster, as long as u keep on increasing ur count of exercise like 5 more moves per 2 weeks. For instance u did 50 press ups first then u do 55 press ups after two weeks. Good luck!

not really. It depends on your body, I have seen people work out every single day for a year with no results. If you are trying to build muscle you do not need to do all that cardio because you are just going to run it off. If you going to lean, that is the way to go, if not you need more intense muscle building exercising with cardio only 1-2 a week.

yes you should..but it may not be enough...what are you eating? It won't help if you eat junk all day.

Try this...

Okay....3,500 calories to burn one pound of fat
You keep a journal of your food intake..I think its highly important for you to see on paper the numbers of what you are taking in.

You buy a calorie counting watch..You take your total intake calories +3,500 add them together and THAT is what you need to burn everyday..to burn one pound.

If you start seeing the numbers I think it will help see that alot of what you might eat..may be uneccesary. You have to remember that your stomach and your intake of food at one meal sitting should be the size of your fist. It doesn't take much food to maintain your health. You can have 5 to 6 servings of healthy food the size of your fits over three regular huge meals. Your body is like a conveyer belt. You need a little at a time to keep everything moving. Good Luck

Most definately as long as you keep to that schedule and do it EVERY day you will by all means see some changes but it also depends on how big you were to start off... if you were normal your body will become toned and if you were big to start off you will loose weight.

no i dun think so, your body muscles need to reooperate, everytime u work out it stretches or gets damaged, and it wud need approximately 48 hrs till its able to work at its most effecient rate. thats why they say if you wanna work out do it 3 times a week? thats all your body can take? if u continue doin this you'd eventually get injured? then u you cant work out or get in shape for the next 4-6 weeks..... and it has happened to me before?

A month is not enough. Any exercise has to be done regularly for at least three months before you really feel the effects.

Yes. But only if you can actually make yourself do all that, every day. I couldn't.
