Any other helpful info would be appreciated. Parking, dining, accomodations, typical night weather/temps, travelling routes / congestion avoidance, and whatever else I should know but likely don't as a first time Bristol attendee. Thanks in advance for your help NASCAR fans. By the way, I need tickets too...suggestions?

I've never been to the summer race at Bristol but I always go to the spring race...actually I'm goin there in a couple of weeks. We stay at Farmer Bob's Campground...good price, decent campsites and the have showers too, granted..they are in a made-over barn, but atleast it's hot running water. The best part is, they're located across from the track so it's not a long crazy walk if you can get a campsite close to the main road outside the campground. Also, we always get out tickets on ebay...I'd start looking now, you can usually get a pretty good deal if you look early. Also just another tidbit....check out the stands outside of the track along the sides of the road for driver and track souveniers. You can get almost the same things as you'll get inside the track and you don't pay nearly half as much. Foods cheaper outside too. If you have any other questions, post them...I'll try to keep looking for ya :) Hope this helps!

You'll never get tickets dude. The night/summer race @ Bristol is sold out every year. When you purchase your tickets @ the first of the year, you are actually buying tickets to a race either 2 sometimes 3 years later. There has always been a 2/3 year waiting list for those tickets. The day/spring race @ Bristol is different.. You can get tickets to that now.. But not the night/summer race. I promise you it's impossible to get them for this years race.

Good Luck finding tickets to that race. Waiting line. Then the best thing to do is get a camper so you can walk to the track. You even have to make reservations for the site. You better start looking now for tickets and camping sites. I have a friend that has had the same seats and site for years cuz wants you give them up you'll never get them back, and anywhere you seat is good. The track will mesmerize you. It's a constant hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Bristol tickets are really hard to find unless you got some major money to spend. You can sit anywhere and see everything...that's why those tickets are so hard to get. But if you do go, seats anywhere are good, and get there early so you won't have to fight for a parking spot

I went to the May Bristol Race last year and we sat in turns 1 and 2 up in the very very high bleachers and they were the BEST seats ever.....except for when it snowed on us...but that was ok.
