I'm really really torn. This guy seems to like me. Its over 3 years. When I go & speak to him, he talks sweetly to me. But he never makes the first move. He waits & waits, is sad if he doesnt see me, is happy when he sees me but never ever in all these years has he come & spoken to me by himself. what should I do.

sounds like this guy is really shy, if you like him then maybe you should kinda make the first move like asking if he wants to hang out sometime with you or something. alot of guys are really shy but they won't admit it. good luck to you.

There are a lot of reasons that a man doesn't approach you first. 1) Is he genuinely single and available? (Seems like a silly question, but I've known guys who have someone and don't approach women so they can't be blamed for seeking someone else!)
2) Is he shy?
3) Is he looking for something different than what you want? Is is possible that he appreciates your friendship, but wants nothing more?
I say find someone who appreciates your time and attention and who is mature enough to approach you. Finding someone who truly appreciates you--and is willing to put his ego on the line--- makes it all worthwhile. Good luck. :)
