I've had programs like that and when I tried the destructo method got errors in other programs. I found sometimes I needed to reinstall/repair the original program and use its own uninstaller first ,then check to see if its gone from add/remove programs. Many hours were spent repairing other applications otherwise.

Some programs (Norton Security Suite, or Earthlink internet access stuff, are good examples) dig themselves so deep into the system, they are *very* difficult to remove fully. One major thing that'll help is to find, often in Program Files, and also in Documents and Settings, files deposited by the software, and "play Captain Destructo" with them on your own (after you've done the uninstall)...LOL

A. Click on Start > Programs, LEGO MEDIA, LEGO RACERS, UNINSTALL LEGO RACERS
B. It will ask you to confirm file deletion, and you should click YES. Once it is through uninstalling you will need to click OK to close the uninstall shield wizard.

One easy and simple way is to hit START, then SEARCH, now hit ALL FILES AND FOLDERS. Now type in Lego Racing and when the various components of that game comes up, just right click and press DELETE. Do this to each of the components like log, exec, dll etc etc
This worked for me and I hope it does for you !
