I'm very blonde with baby fine hair .. yet I have a lot of it! It's nice and thick in the back .. but I can never get volume on top! it always looks flat. I blow dry it .. and let it dry naturally. Both ways it always ends up flat on top ... and parts down the middle.

how do I get volume on top and make it part on the side?
(i've tried blow drying it to the side .. it still parts right back down the middle)

any suggestions would be great! :)

oh! also, it's naturally curly .. when I put gel in it .. it gets super curly like Shirley Temple. maybe that has something to do with it? When my hair is curly I don't have any problems with it going flat .. ONLY when I straighten it.

thanks!

Oh! and no, I don't use a curling iron .. it's naturally curly.
I just use hair gel (and mousse) to keep it from being wispy.

If you want straight hair that badly then ask your stylist what you can do because if your using a curling iron before long you will have fried hair. I straightened my hair every day for a month and it literally friend it. I had split ends and it just looked horrible. I just recently changed my middle part to a side part. What I did was I made my part in my wet hair and blow dried it from above. It dried that way to. Before bed I take a barret and clip my hair back. Its sorta hard to explain. I have the part on one side. The side with the more scalp I put the barret it on the side. Hope that help!!!!

They have some shapoo and condicener that really makes it fluff! My mom has flat hair and she uses volume shapoo, and it works! So try some things like that. Go to the store and look for some. Hope it helps!

You could back comb it and add some spray or sprunch it with spray. Ask your stylist for some suggestions.
